Is there a dummies guide somewhere? I am completely lost with this app. I managed to download the David saxby profile but don’t like his sunrise and sunset times. I can see the arrows and move them but he has so many stages that I think I would have to move them all which seems overly complicated so I’ve given up on that.

How do you use the moonlight function? (Prime 16hd). The Lunar setting is set to Waning Crescent but there is no moonlight coming on at night.

I just set up my Hydra 32's for the first time. It took me a while to figure things out and I searched the AI website for answers. I came across this video which helped a lot. The procedure should be the same for the prime.

Not quite the same as my app but managed to work the moonlight out. I’ll see what it looks like later on. Thanks.

To move the start / stop time , use 2 fingers and slide left or right as needed . You should be able to lengthen the ramp times by adding and editing the existing schedule just leave the peak time time ,with all the “wwww” alone. When you get it where you like it , save it

yea its a little complicated. I haven't tried editing times for a programmed setting. I did a custom one and added moonlights. my schedule and settings are in my build thread
This doesn’t work in the new app. in the new app you just turn on the “moon” setting, it runs the light according to the calendar.

Well I tried the moonlight last night but none the wiser. Tried waning crescent on and off, tried setting a time point for it to come on, changed intensity of it etc. As soon as I stop editing the moonlight either completely turns off or it’s so dim that it doesn’t project into the tank at all.

Does anyone with the 16HD have the moonlight working and if so can you let me know how?

Yes, I’ve both moonlight in the schedule, meaning I set what I want It’s worked fine. A couple weeks ago I turned on moon light in settings. It uses the actual phases of the moon, that’s why they took time setting out. It will override your schedule. Yesterday and today my tank looked far different at 8PM than it did at the same times last week.

I think I saw “new moon” in the moon setting. Last week it was a different moon phase so the tank looked different.

last night I turned off “moon” in the settings and the went to my schedule. It was significantly different. I’m not sure I’m keep the “moon” on but I’m going to leave it for a couple more weeks.

Here‘s the schedule I’m running…

Only just realised what you meant by using 2 fingers. For anyone reading this, you drag your entire lighting schedule with 2 fingers horizontally. I now have David Saxbys schedule but starting and ending at times more suited to me. You have to be careful though as you can also raise and lower the entire light % using the same two fingers if you drag up and down.

Mine keeps turning on and off like every minute I just set it up yesterday and I don't know why. I did put a light bed sheet over it cuz there's like a million cats in here
