Mysis turning black

Guys
Why is my mysis turning black?
I defrost in the morning and add a little tank water then put a portion in
A few hours later it’s black

Never had this problem before

Small krill turns black when it is spoiled, maybe mysids do the same thing (I only feed live mysids, I’ve never used frozen).

This is brown out the freezer then with tank water it goes black
Maybe the nitrates causing it idk

I've never seen that - but maybe?
