Maybe if you want to devote your life to it. The problem is they are very cannibalistic. You need to constantly separate them by age / size. You need many different tanks with screens so the small ones can fit through ect ect.

When I used to raise cuttlefish I thought about it, but in the end it was worth spending $100 on shipping every 2 weeks for a fresh batch as keeping them alive longer then 2 weeks was not practical for me.
