I had a clove polyp coral that had been relatively healthy and growing but then the next day, it was simply gone and the rock that it was on was all that remains. Could it have been eaten by an invert? I just got two new hermits and two new turbo snails (but could possibly be another snail although I really doubt it) and a tuxedo urchin. I really think that the hermits or snails ate it but im not sure. The pictures at the bottom show the rock where the coral was and a hermit near it, a close up of one of the hermits, and one of the giant turbo snails that I got

That's the work of a clean up crew, most likely hermits. Happens to me often, Clove polyps disappeared overnight. Only clean disk left behind..lol. who knows where they end up
