Mysterious Glowing Green Dots

Hi Guys,

Recently throughout my 250l tank these mysterious glowing green dots have popped up all over my tank and now are on my coral!!!

What are these things, are they any good or should I be worried?

Got a bit of a cyano problem at the mo, but tank is overall running fairly healthy.

Do you have any green pocillopora coral? Looks like a spawn of that weed?

It's fairly bright green for coralline algae, but that would also be a guess.

I've got ball anemones in various holes in my rocks and they have bright green spots on them when under very blue lighting. Larger ones look like a ring of green dots but if they're small enough it just looks like one big green spot.

I know some reefers consider them pests, but I personally like a little variety in my tank and I haven't had any issues with them yet.

EDIT: Based on your pictures I can't really tell what's in your tank, you'd need to get a closer look in order to properly determine if it is ball anemones or something else.
Also, while I haven't had ball anemones on coral, I have seen them attached to macro algae.

I have a few of them also, I like them too. They don’t seem to multiply fast and I have not found them on corals, just in crevices in the base of some shaded rocks

Thanks guys kept my eye on them for a few days and they just disappeared.
