Hey Guys,

So the other day a friend was over and we were looking at the tank and this little mystery fish showed up.

I never bought him and I don't recognize the type of Blenny. He's about 1.25" long has a stubby body shape and is fast as can be.

He was hanging out under the base of an acro and then he disappeared into the rock mounted on the back wall of the tank.

Later than night I spotted where he hangs out on the back wall, but the back of the tank is 33" away and he's in a crevice between the rocks so I couldn't shoot him.

Today he finally came out to the front of the tank and I tried to get some photos of him but he is so small and only sits in the shadows.

While I know the simple answer is that he came in on one of my corals at some point, the over eager hobbyist in me thinks that his head which has red spots on it looks like my Austrailian Orange Spotted Blenny, and the body has stripes like my Klauzinger blenny....

So here is the mystery fish... anyone recognize it?

Thanks,

Dave B
