My live rock has serrated blue leaf structures. What is this?!

Look up Dictyota and see if it looks like what you have.

Does not look similar except for the branching. These are distinctly light blue and with serrated leaves.

I'm really not sure. You might try posting in the algae forum.

Where did the rock come from?

Probably Caulerpa serrulata.

My best guess is a type of Eucheuma or Kappaphycus? Basically kelp or macroalgae.

I honestly don't know - I assume it's a keeper, but I'd check and see if anyone on the macroalgae forum has experience with it.

Yes. I hear it is a good nutrient exporter. I am guessing the Caribbean as the sawtooth does well there, but I don’t know. Thank you everyone for the help!
