We went to our LFS today and picked a nice ricordea mushroom from the frag tank. I was curious about another frag in there, and I dont think he was sure what it was. Anyway, he gave it to us for free and I was wondering if anyone knew what this may be. There are two pictures both taken under the same light. Excuse the poor quality as it was taken with my iphone.

looks like a chalice to me. could be a diamond in the rough.

give it low light and low flow and you can try to feed mysis once a day to help it recover( just looks a little beat up)

Thanks for the input! I have it in a higher place in my tank right now, so I will movie it to a lower ledge close to a cave. I hope it makes it through!

Our chalice is eating, but I am having trouble keeping the mysis on it. We turn off our wave maker but the current from the return pump pushes it away. Any suggestions?

Try making a little feeding dome from the top of a soda bottle. Just cut off the top off the bottle so it's large enough to cover your coral. Set it over the coral and use a turkey baster to drop the mysis in through the hole where the cap is. I have to do it because the vultures in my tank won't leave any food untouched.
