Hi everyone so I was given some coral from a family friend and they were any easy ones and are doing great however there is this one that was attached for green star polyps that I’m not sure what it is. I don’t think they knew it was attached and I want to make sure I care for it properly so it doesn’t die. It was up higher (the red circle) but has moved down. Any ideas??

Hard to see but looks like a bubble tip anemone

Here are two more close ups. I poked it and it closed up so here’s a picture of that. I’ve reached out to the people I got it from to see what they say ‍♀️

If you can pull it out, do that. If you can't remove it from a rock then what I do is i boil RODI water and with a turkey baster I splash it with the boiling water and it cooks the nem and its tissue so it wont spread.

remove the gsp colony and clip of the rock around the nem and chuck it or keep it in a jar reef if you like it , it will play havok later when you get some nice corals you payed for if you dont remove it

majano get rid off asap
