Thanks! The guy I bought the anemone from said they’re similar to a sponge in the sense that they filter the water; I just could not remember their name. Do you think they made a difference in your tank?Appears to be a Yellow Parazoanthus Polyp.... which was my very first coral I bought 16yrs ago. This polyp can grow like weeds but is easily scrubbed away using a toothbrush. They are cousins to zoanthids but non toxic
Ooooooh lord lol I’ll keep them for now; I think they’re cute but if it gets out of control, I’ll be scrubbing away. I’ve just barely dipped my toe into corals so I’ll take this one as an easy freebie. I like corals that pulse/move but I’m not really sure what to get besides Xenia.I mean... if you like yellow. They're plain yellow with no mix of any other hue. Doesn't take long for them to cover whole LR.
They're kinda the Supermodels of Aiptasia Lololololololololol
Duly noted lol I also like the bubble/hairy mushrooms. I have a piece of stag horn too but it’s not my favorite. Honestly, I’m not sure how I’ve kept that one alive this long lolMovement is more a result of two powerheads pulsing yin and yang causing softies to sway back and forth.
Xenia are the only softie I know they actively pulses to gather food particular.
If you can't afford pulsing powerheads, just buy some really good weed... Lololololololololol
