Mystery Crab

Wondering if anyone knows what this little guy is? He was a hitchhiker on some live rock from KP Aquatics and lives in my sump. Very elusive and I finally snapped a good pic of him tonight. Structurally looks like a Mithrax but totally cream / white colored. Thought he was stressed from the trip and lost his color, but that was a few months ago. Seems to be healthy and not aggressive the few times I see him in the open. He lives amongst several hermit crabs and I never see him interact with them, positive or negative.
No plans to get rid of or relocate him, just curious as to what I have.

Sumps are the perfect place for mystery crabs, whatever it is! If you're lucky enough to get a picture of the claws post it up - the claws are usually a pretty good indicator on what it is (or so I've seen on other hitchhiker threads).

Following. I’m def no expert, but I was researching a heap on crabs last night. I saw some rock crabs that are that colour. But again, no expert. Others will chime in, if love to know what he is too. Lovely looking guy

I have lots of crabs that came in with some live rock and have never gotten larger than about a nickel (I got the rock just over a year ago). I have hermits, snails, zoas and no sign that any of them have been bothered.

It look from this side as emerald crab, but only once I saw brownish Emerald crab on the web. Or your just lost his colors under your bright light xD

Looks like an emerald crab to me. I've seen them all different colors. Agree with poster above that said it could be getting ready to molt as well. Doesn't look like a bad rock crab though.

Thanks for the feedback everyone. I’ll just call him my ultra-rare “Pearl Moon Mithrax”! (Ooooo...I like that!!) I’m getting some more KP rock tomorrow for my Biocube reboot. Maybe I’ll get a buddy for him to play with. Never know what’s gonna come out of the ocean.
