Mystery Crab

A few weeks ago I noticed that we had an unknown inhabitant, it's a crab, thats black, a lanky arm, and a hooked claw, the thing is, he refuses to leave the rock, and i couldn't get a picture, but we placed a seemingly dead nasarius snail in our tank, to test id he was a hermit, around the same time we discovered him, we found a small, vacant shell. Any thoughts?

Oh I'm lurking in the shadows if the rock isnt huge, and there are no coral on it, can you banish it to the sump until the crab comes out?

I agree. Sump it and use a trap like this with maybe a piece of raw shrimp or something.

We think its an emerald crab
