Are sponges good, bad, no difference?

I'm not seeking to grow any hard corals on my live rock.

Sponges are good guys….until they overgrow your coral lol

Stuff that comes in on live rock is the best

They are good. No real concern at all. Just another filter feeder. It won’t harm anything.

Should be good. If it becomes a problem sponges are incredibly easy to cut back.
