Mystery starfish??

Found this guy in my tank? Any ideas on what species? Good or bad? Not sure who he hitched a ride with but I don’t mind having one!

Beware: some aserina are known to eat corals.
I usually pull any that I see. But that’s just me. Many people have them and don’t have any issues. I’ve never actually had one eat coral, but still remove them. They are pretty common, I don’t think they are a big deal, but I still remove if I see any. I’m sure there are some in the tank, but none visible.

Remove if you can. They multiply like the plague.

Some people like them and others do not. I personally kept tweezers beside my tank and gave them a new home when I seen them

I don’t freak out over them, but I remove them when I see them and I’m working in the tank. I’m not getting my hands wet in other words. I’d have to already be going in. But if I’m in there.... they better be in full on camo mode.
