Mystery Tang

Good evening. Figured I’d turn to this group after trying my luck at research. I have a 240 gallon tank in the lobby of the high school at which I work. About two years ago I bought a tang at my LFS. And unfortunately I have now forgotten which variety it is. I figured I would remember easily but nothing seems to ring a bell and I can’t find a matching Thang on the Internet. Would anyone like to try to help me out? I have attached a couple of pictures

I'm usually wrong when I try to identify livestock and I'm not very familiar with them but a Dussumieri tang maybe?

Edit- It also gets called an eye stripe tang online, and if you look up pictures you'll need to find pics of a juvenile. Again assuming I'm right on which type it is.

Very pretty fish. Dussumieri doesn't look quite right.

This sort of looks like it right ? Got the blue yellow stripes on dorsal fin.
Cant see stripes on body on op picture but maybe juvenile/ adult differences or slightly different?



Umm front of face and mouth doesnt look same shape but quite similar in other aspects

Dussumeri, Fowleri, or bariene. They all have pretty similar coloring

Well vetteguy got correct by looks of things ^_^
Only £ 29 and grows upto 50cm pr 19 inches .
Wonder if i can fit 1 or maybe 2 in my 300 litre display tank ?

2nd picture not sure if thats juvenile or male but looks gorgeous
