Mystery vs 4-line

just bought a mystery wrasse to add to my 125. i have a few other wrasses, 4-line, melanarus, and yellow coris. i had the mystery in an acclimation box for about 2 days to let the other get used to it. once out the 4-line was fairly aggressive so i put the mystery back in the box. the 4-line is smaller by a tad. how long would the aggression have lasted if i left him in the tank. or is this just a bad fit in general

any help/thoughts apprecaitted...

I'm probably too late here, but it's a bad idea in general. Pseudocheilinus wrasses don't play well with other wrasses, and they certainly don't play well with other Pseudocheilinus wrasses.

I was hoping that you had caught the 4 line by now and banished him to the frag tank....

the aggresion would have lasted until one of them was dead. one of them will have to be banished to another tank
