Mystery worm ID

Any ideas what this worm is growing out of the center of my Duncan? It’s got a hard outer shell and retracts slightly when I put objects near it’s mouth…seems like it can see me, which surprised me.

Not sure if it’s a concern or not. The Duncan doesn’t seem to care.

try to do it outside of tank, make sure you get snail.

I was able to do just that. There were two (likely more coming so I’ll keep my eyes peeled). Thanks again for your help!

I guess dipping doesn’t work with these buggers? All my corals went through 45 day quarantine and were dipped three times with Bayer and CoralRX….oh, well.
