So this zoa just popped up out of a six month old piece of live rock. It does not match any of my zoas. What caught my eye are the yellow tips on the lashes. The picture isnt all that great but it has a neon green eye, purple/red ring and purple lashes with yellow/green lashes. Any idea what variety this critter may be?

Is that the best you could do for a photo?

I hope somebody can help you here.

Yeah it is down kinda in my pistol shrimp's burrow and i couldn't get a good angle on it. The lashes only show up under actinic so makes it even harder

Possible dragon eyes or radioactive but angle makes it hard to confirm. Puc somewhat dark also.... adding white Will help

It may be a green paly. I forget what they call them but they are brown with green relatively large polyp size.
That would make sense because I have a ton of them that detach and float around. I have been slowly trying to kill all the stragglers I don't want them, dont wanna handle em dont wanna touch em!

You’ll love these! Bought one about a year ago and there’s now over ten on the frag!

I feel yah I got some too. I removed about 100-200 from back wall in the summer a few have come back and I should really think of pulling them out lol.
