i have noticed some dragon eyes and some other nice blue zoo's slowly being destoyed, one colony after another. i tryed iodine dips and no sign of them getting better until i moved a pavona and i came across a thorny, orange and black shell. i was thinking maybe some kind of conch, but not up high on the rocks.i don't have a pic but does this ring a bell anybody?

Sounds like its just a mullosk to me. None of them eat zoanthids that I know of. What do your Zoanthids actualy look like that are dying?
Brown /yellow fungus on them? White fungus? Blistered up with white pimples?
Melting? ( aka shiney looking mat and base with severely wilted heads)

it's seems like their main stocks are slowly being eatten. when u look at them it looks as if they are just peeling apart underneath the heads of the zoo. most of them are in good shape. tissue necrosis maybe? how do u stop it?
