I can't wait until the Miracle gets dirty! So much room for interesting textures. I really want an orange finger sponge.

Find a good source, if they get exposed to air during their shipping journey it can take weeks for them to die so even if it looks ok it might already be doomed.
Oh and live phyto helps with sponges as they deal with 1 micron food give or take.

That's the one thing that I'm reluctant to put in the tank. I know they are very delicate. I even considered a simulated version.

Ever since you posted that pic of the blue Gorgonian, can’t stop thinking about it! The stores in my area are lacking

I have lost the majority of the blueberry and over half the orange due to a phos spike, my fault, so they are in a high flow spot in the big tank to try and keep them clean.

Can you get an lfs to get you some in and observe it for a few weeks before you take it?
When I moved the blue one from the big tank I submerged a 2 litre jug and put the sponge in it, jugged out 2 litres from the puddle and submerged the jug and poured it in, care wise a healthy sponge is pretty easy.

Right, let me see what, if any pics I have, I got side tracked with the twins!

I have had one rock with a ridiculous amount of bubble algae on it so I plonked a big group of palys on them.
This lifted as one, at least 3" x 2", I need to test my nitrates and phos, I think they were weak?!

And that's it until today, told you I was distracted! ;)

Luckily these two appear to get along, I need to frag the whip! ;)

Thanks, lots of live phyto, a liquid food and a powder depending how bad my cyano is! ;)
Liquid = Tropic Marin Zootonic.
Powder = Ocean Nutrition Reef Pulse.
I wasnt aware u did these as well. Thanks :)

Watch your phos with the last 2, don't use the Zootonic if you have much cyano.

Cespitularia, small green guy is doing ok, I will try and get an fts later, it is currently being shaded by the big blue!
Remember full rubbish lights, you need to see it under blues! ;)
(Don't hold your air in, my camera refuses to deal with blue only led!)

Big blue, I need to frag it but every time I think about it it looks happy! ;)
