As you might have guessed I did a lot of thinking about the tank yesterday evening, it needs a new direction.
I need to change the flow.
I will firstly go back down to the RW 8, this gives me options for placement, the Rw 15 can only go in one spot running it on else mode.
I have been looking at wave makers, I don't like gyre pumps, that is just me, I will probably go back to tunze.
This is how much out of balance the twins are with the nets in place, I have had to back the M1 off by 3 points to keep the display from over flowing!
I need to tune things from scratch again, balance the return pumps and reduce the return to the cube so I can run higher return to the display.
I will remove the nets later and see what happens when the tang is allowed back in, if I have to remove the blond I will.

I just watched 18 minutes of a group of fish get together and terrify one fish, they literally turned the tables 180 on the black nasohole, it fled back in the cube!
Not a single fish bit or cut it, I was glued, each time the black had a go at the blond one of the fish broke it up, all the big players were watching, the two scopas' and flame angel intervened the most, after about 10 minutes the blond swam off about a foot, went full display and dived at the black, slowly all the other fish postured at the black and watched as the blond frightened the black into a corner, the flame angel moved the blond away, black fled!
I need a drink!

It would be my mum's birthday tomorrow, I ran two tanks with her, my nephew still runs the actual tank rebooted, even when she was in a wheelchair she loved her visits to our lfs, everyone knew she was a bit deaf, went face to face with her to speak and fed her coffee, I still hurt from this loss, love and miss you mum, every jewel blenny I see now is called Binkie, I failed to save her, sorry.

Fish update, it is still ongoing with the blond with the upper hand.
I have been watching this morning, all the big fish have been watching again.
I took about 20 pics again, during the first 15 or so there was no sign of the scopas.
This is not a trick of the light, she can turn her eyes on and off depending on mood, this is frisky mode and was aimed at the blond!
Then she went dark, all the larger fish have been calming the blond down like that is enough since!
Peace might be about to break out!
