I have done a lot of reading and thinking since yesterday, if what is happening to the S scopas is what people have said then basically I will lose all my fish and there is nothing I can do about it!
That is the worst case scenario, but if the last article I read is correct it could happen.
I am feeding more frozen as of today, get some protein in him due to the weight loss, this will crucify my levels so I will test nitrates and phos in the next few days.
Not sure I can deal with this if it does happen.
The spine shows due to used up fat stores across the back
I am going to start taking a lot of fish pics to monitor and just in case.

Nice thought, we don't get decent meds over here but there is a treatment I have used before that I will add once the lights are off, turns the water bright green and freaks the fish out!

OMG!!!!!!! that asterina is eating your coral. kill it immediately!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Asterina eating cyano, that was the top edge during one of the bulkhead failures so was exposed for a couple of hours and died back, I will clean it later as it is slowing the re growth.
Notice the little pavona ear to the left, it is going up avoiding the turbin!

I actually saw this last night. I'm still not a fan of the assessment BRS did with the Gen 2 light. In fact they got it completely wrong. With this 7 minute version he at least called out the fact that the light is for those hobbyist who prefer natural high noon sunlight over or below reefs. I mean I added high noon over and below reefs but he did at least state the natural look of the light. And not the more US favorable Radion look. I blame Radions more than Kessil (because I own kessil
) but at least if you leave the dials with Kessil alone it has a closer look to normal.Are you using the Gen 2's? I had three on my list for Santa along with a new GT500 but alas I think her budget is a bit lower than the cost for either

Exactly, no I don't have one yet due to unemployment but I will be getting at least one at some point. I think the reason they showed my tank was the 14K look, not a fan of blue lighting!

Ah, got it. Makes sense.
Also agree with the lighting. Not a fan of the super blue look that is trending. Really glad both ATI and Philips addressed this although Philips probably implemented it the best. On my list as well. I think I've saved enough for 1 - lol. I probably need 2 or 3 but maybe by this time next year I will be ready.
Thank goodness I am not alone. Blue is not my thing either. I have dove all around the world and either I didn’t go deep enough or there isn’t that much blue lol. My kessils stay at 70% white and then hit 95% white when the hybrid comes on for the 180. The hybrid has 2 coral plus, 1 aqua blue special and 1 actinic. The actinic is not even noticeable, but does make colors pop.
