I need to sort out the digi jungle and do some dipping and fragging, no idea what has caused this.

Looks good! Hope you figure out your necrosis issue!

Thanks, forgetting the new angels I am a bit stumped, it is very overgrown in there with 4 different digis together so I need to tidy it up anyway, I would say it looked like sting damage if you showed me the pic!

Well that's better than necrosis! Still sucks but no head scratching.

Simon, are you running carbon to deal with the leathers? I run a small amount of carbon just to make sure the leathers don't kill all of their neighbors. Had an issue where a toadstool had a dying spot on it and any corals down stream of it started to recede or die. Since then I run a minimal amount of carbon to make sure I get no issues.

I know of this but it's not something I worry about.
I do keep carbon in the house, I haven't used any for a long time though.

You know those mornings you sit down and check the tank and your heart sinks!
This is a complete 6 x 4 inch branch / plate, it tapers to the back, that is about a 2 inch section.
I would say sting damage but there is nothing close enough.
I don't think I can easily frag it because it is so thick, I might take it to the lfs and get them to run it through the saw.
Gutted. :(

Wow! That happened overnight? Using a band saw is probably your best bet, hopefully you can salvage it.
