I miss mine, great fish. :)
It has already displayed dominant behavior with the dragon goby, who is simply trying to sift some poop out of the sand.. hopefully they settle.

I popped to the lfs earlier and dropped the acro frag back, swapped plus £10 for a monti, more later.
Chatted to the young lady at the shop about the jewel blenny being the suspect for the death of the cave goby.
New frag in, more later!
I sat down with a cup of tea and something combustable just in time to watch the jewel dive into the rocks, attack and evict the flasher wrasse!
The blenny is now back in the sump, the trap is out and the scape put back, = snow globe, more on the frag when the water is clear enough to get a pic! ;)

Speaking of snow... hows the winter been across the puddle this year so far?

Mild I lost the last flowers in the back jungle around xmas, into January is rare, I live south in the country, think of a US state that is tall and narrow, up north get cold and snow, down here not so often.

The frag, mystic sunset, my fav monti, I had a nice colony a few years ago now, time to try it again! (I did try a couple of years ago.) :)

Things that make me sad, mandarin / dragonet starving.

This little girl was one of 5 in a tank at an lfs I use sometimes, she was the only one of the 5 still pecking and hunting.
One male was in it's death throws literally in front of my eyes, the two other males were pacing a bit but not hunting and pecking and the other female was sitting in a corner not moving.
They won't make it but this little girl might, she is now in the puddle, she won't starve in there, the reason I put this on here is because once I catch my little assassin she will be in here with a boy friend.
Fingers crossed. :)

If it had been at my lfs there would have been a big row.

That is a prove of a good heart, well done my friend.

Thank you sir, hope you travels were cool, I have tried mandarin saves in the past, I have never rescued ones that have lost the feeding instinct, never found a "trigger food" and I can get most things to eat, I wish I could have bought all five to at least pass calmly, this always brings me close to tears, so many that try there best lose them, there is a point where you are wasting your time.
