I failed with the waterchanges via shop bought salt, my laziness!
I think I did 6.
Basically I am back to square one so discussions were had with the lfs manager today.
I have a new membrane, pre filters and resin so I am back to zero tds and I will mix my own, this is what they use for customer water sales, as I might have mentioned before a few hundred times this is one of the reasons they are one of the best marine shops in the UK.
I will be doing ten litres at a time either daily or every other day, time to give the tank a fresh jump start, I also got a pot of Red Sea Reef-spec carbon as I am nearly out of the aquaforest stuff I was using.
I need to shift this cyano, now the digging is much less I need to hit it, I was making progress until a few days ago so I know what works.

Yes I am impressed with the inferred expletives, my right eye twitches to this day!
I believe if you reenact the activity, using your left nostril, then your left eye will twitch. This way, you will twitch "in stereo" and, hopefully, not scare as many people when making public appearances!
