Interesting day today, I have been fighting a blockage in my right ear.
... like for 4 - 6 weeks, i came downstairs this morning to an odd splashing noise, my hearing loss blanked the return to the cube, I added an elbow to put it under the water level, loving listening to the radio today.

I need to get the new to me light fitted!

Very nice, I have been thinking about acros recently and came to a conclusion!

The twins are in a constant flux, it depends how busy the engineer goby is, I can balance the big three but my nutrients bounce around a lot and I don't think acros will deal with it.
The monti I bought yesterday is a test, you couldn't find a healthier colony if you tried, if it shows any signs of stress it will go back and wait for me at the shop.
I'm going to glue the accidental frag later and see how that does.

The little nub tip came off in the bag, I dropped it into the puddle, the white strands are the repair crew getting to work.

I was trying to pick a polyp, twice the polyps closed when I focused on them, I like hungry corals when I get them.

I tried to get a pic of the monti to show it's size, that is M1, if it had been M3 the coral would look massive, still a 4 - 5 inch piece!

I forgot to mention this yesterday, my lfs was clearing out copepods yesterday, there were a lot of live ones still.
I was going to add all five bottles to the puddle last night and forgot which is actually a good thing!
I read something a few days ago that jolted me to get a pod culture going.
This is some waste salt mix ready to go out as weed control, you need to trust me on all the pics for colours, this is with all 5 bottles added as well as about 100 ml of live phyto.

When I use floss on the puddle I always drop it in the sump refugium when I take it out due to trapped pods and stuff, five lumps have been dropped in.

Ten litre bucket so about 6 litres, I will top up evaporation and dose phyto but I still undecided about an air stone, I have a pump I can set up but I have lost the airline restrictor valve thingy.
There were loads of pods active when I took this but it was a bit cloudy, fingers crossed!

You are both too kind, my camera has two settings, "current Simon jpeg pics" and Raw, I am too lazy to learn the software for Raw processing, I think of me as a lucky amateur!
