*General thread announcement, do not post fresh water pretty much anything on my journal, it really annoys me.*

Someone is getting braver, it came all the way to my desk corner earlier until the midas blenny shoo'd it away, it is the blenny's corner as well.

Something made me happy this morning, don't remember what, so I went to my lfs, got a couple of shrooms that are just in so pics to follow, this was this morning before I went out but I didn't post it as I was sort of lost for words.
It is my favourite fish and is special in a couple of ways and I have been trying for a year or so to get a decent pic.
Yes it is that colour, captive bred flames are very few and far between and all tend to be more orange so I think of it as my ginger fish with freckles.
"It", she was about 10 mm ickle when I got her, flat out being chased she could swim through egg crate and she has never touched healthy corals, I think she is a he now but will always be my little naughty minx.

Ive got a couple of ‘nearly’ very good pictures but not perfect yet. Maybe we need a competition!

Also this morning, I swear the mandarin knows when I have the camera out!

Moved the green cabbage yesterday, it suffered with the power dip the most (so far) and that left side might need to be trimmed.

When you have an engineer goby and a cave goby you get used to random piles of sand.
I was looking at the tank but not this spot and out of the corner of my eye I saw a bright yellow *flash* shoot behind the sand pile.
The only thing that yellow in the tank is the ycg and it doesn't do sand.
I'm sure it was a ywg I added with a pistol a couple of years ago, never seen after day one!
I don't hear the pistol if it is still alive, I will observe!

I just changed my carbon, in bags, when all the leathers sort of shut down at the same time I added two half cups in bags, one at each drain chamber in the sump, the tank has shown a glimmer of happiness over the past few days, it is a subtle shift but enough for me to notice.
