Just lost my large kenya last week. all it's baby's and other leathers in the tank are fine. just another "no rhyme or reason" event.

I put my backup Eheim 3000 soaking yesterday, the 2000 was making a lot of noise, cleaned the 3000 (involves a screwdriver) and it was spinning great and freely, took the 2000 out and 3000 in, same size outlet, , tingle in my fingers as I plugged the 3000 in, 2000 cleaned and back in, no bulkheads broke, hate touching my plumbing.

This happened more than once, got home on my bike, through the back door and into the kitchen only to find a nekkid booty exposed on the kitchen table with my mum extracting gravel, she got a little kit together after the first time!

Very chilled, 10-07 am here, watching the lights on the twins ramp up and corals opening.

Simon I was hoping to pick your brain some about taking pictures. We have a Nikon d5100 with an 18-55 mm and a 55-200 mm lens. We cant seem to get very good closeup pictures with it. The cell phones are getting clearer closeups then the Nikon which makes no sense to me. Figure its got to be a setting we are missing.

I dont get to see it much yet. Corals are down in the basement at the moment and I start work at 7am. Rarely get the chance to drop down before 11 or 12. I'm thinking its going to be a long day after only 4 hours sleep
