I dipped it before I realised what was going on, hate dipping corals for no reason, nothing came off but I did the fine tooth comb examination anyway, sulking in the cube as the bcg doesn't go in there.

Good call on the dip. It made sure the damaged area is clean and allows the coral to heal a little easier. Now all you do is provide stability and wait, but it should heal just fine.

Current conflict is the convict and rescue scopas, things are very frisky, I believe the convict caused the demise of the flame angel (RIP dude.), this is for number three in the pecking order, convict is bringing a pocket knife to a sword fight if this kicks off!
