I added another pic, still has blue lights on but body pattern & face can be seen betterMaybe an adult chevron tang? Hard to tell with blues
Oh lol i didnt even read the second part. Most clown tangs i have turn into pyschos so... adding in a new tang to an established clown... might not be a great idea
Not sure about that tang but it will probably depend more on your tank size.
My clown tang is currently in QT, I’m looking to buy all of my tangs and keep them together in QT before adding to my display tank

I was thinking that but the pattern on the body do they change as it gets older?Juvenile yellow fin possibly ?
I had to remove a clown from a 250 years ago. Wasn't big enough for him. It wasn't as much aggression towards the other tangs just a total spaze. My clown tang is currently in QT, I’m looking to buy all of my tangs and keep them together in QT before adding to my display tank
How big is the QT? Crouding tangs that will get big later is going to create a huge amount of stress in QT unless there a lot of room and places to hide. The last thing I would want in a QT is too many fishes. My clown tang is currently in QT, I’m looking to buy all of my tangs and keep them together in QT before adding to my display tank
I can't tell what I am looking at in the pictures. I do guess that this one is going to get very big one day, but which one?Mata is more elongated, more straight lines on its body & face, and a black tail blade
Duss is rounder, with brain like lines on its face as an adult, and a while tail blade.
About the same size at full grown if they ever reach that size in a 500+ tank.I can't tell what I am looking at in the pictures. I do guess that this one is going to get very big one day, but which one?
I don’t have any rocks in the QT at all, keeping it clear so I know what’s going on with the fish. Each fish is about 3” smallest size. QT is 150 including sumpHow big is the QT? I hope it’s the one on left, the more colorful one. Very nice. And a great additionAbout the same size at full grown if they ever reach that size in a 500+ tank.
The more colorful of the two pix is Duss
