Alright everyone, a friend of mine ordered this acan from a site that I had recommended and after he got it in it looked nothing like the pic.
I know the Acan name, but just wanting to see if anyone could even GUESS what it is ? Looks NOTHING like the pic on their website.

EDIT: He's had it for about 2-3 weeks now under 250w 20k mh

It does not look worthy to name, but acans can take 6 months or more to fully color up.

+1 most acans don't deserve a name, even some really nice ones only deserve generic names like rainbow, orange crush, nuc green, IMO.

Well after I show you guys what the site portrayed this as, you will definitely change your opinions. Would like a few more to chime in before I drop the bomb :)

Most ultra rainbow will look best under LED.MH will change its color to orange after while.

He paid $200 for the frag.

Bomb will be dropped soon haha
Want to get a little more attention to this thread.

Has he tried working it out with the seller first?

ouch, i think we probably all know what name it was given, i hope it colors up for him

Yeah the seller offered a little credit, but the point I want to bring across is for them to change the picture they have for it on their website.

My friend just recently got into acans and after he saw this one.... It was his first online purchase for one and he asked me how close the pics usually are and I told him mine have always looks exactly like the pics. I even recommended the site ! They are good people and a good company though this is not to bash on them in any way. I really feel bad for him and want people to know if they purchase this same acan, they won't be getting what's in the picture.

I figured the price would give it away.
Here's the pic on the website.

When you get ready to reveal, you need to reveal it in the vendor feedback forum. You can link to it from here, but this is not the proper forum if your going to leave feedback.

Thanks. :)

Cool, can we break the silence then? I have been buying a ton of acans lately and wouldnt want to spend that money on one of those. Also, maybe others can mention if they had the same experience or if they got whats pictured. Is it possible they sent the wrong one?

Hey all , this is my coral . I didn't really want to call out a vendor here on the forum . I just wanted to know if the coral in the first picture has any chance of ever looking like the one in the add? .
Is it possible that it lost that much color during shipping? . I am new to Acans but have ordered a lot of SPS and LPS wysiwyg before and never had one show up looking like this .
On the other hand the freebie acan they sent along with it is pretty nice .
BTW , I have talked to them via email and sent them a pic of it . They have been good about responding back but the only resolution offered was "next time I ordered from them" .
