Name that coral

Hi, when I bought this coral, I was told it was a chalice but it appears to be just growing upward, like a tower, not very chalicey. Do chalices come in different flavors that aren't necessarily bowl-shaped or is this something else?

Hard to tell but my guess Is chalice if it’s the coral in the center

I agree with the chalice vote. Chalices often "puff up" when they're very happy, so it might not be growth you're seeing but the coral might be happier in your tank than where it came from.
