Named corals- found or selectively bred?

I watch a lot of reef diving videos and have noticed I never see anything as colorful as in the hobby. Are these just rarities that have been discovered and fragged over the years or have these mostly been created by selective breeding ? Just curious.

A lot of colors in tank corals comes from the higher amount of blue light… though many are indeed captive bred.
