Names of novelty corals?

Who makes mia's pot of gold, Tubbs blue zoos, tyree watermelon, jason fox blaa blaa, joe shmos awesome coral???

Ive never been explained why they get to name or put their name on corals. Can someone enlighten me?

Well mother nature makes them.
How they get names is a person get a colony and names it. The more popular ones are those of people that are known getting in really nice stuff thats uncommon Jason Fox,WWC,Tyree ect... That why you see these names more but many folks give names to coral

Yep!
Alot of people will find one thats the same as a named coral and call it that name. It works for some things but you would have linage to the person that named it. Other will add there name in front of it ex.. JR's BGM

I would guess so but they would still be GPE . Zoa/palys are a bit different tho most dont care about linage on zoa/palys where the higher $ corals people care because it would bring down the price from say $300 to $100 and nobody wants to spend top $ on something to find out its not worth what they paid ands its not the real deal
