Naming fish?

I did for my first few fish then kinda stopped. Now I have about 18 fish I would forget the names

Any one have any sugestions on a name for a blue throat trigger male? I’ve been having trouble coming up with trigger names.

About 3/4 of my fish have names op. Usually after the 3 month mark they earn a name.

I have named a discus fresh water fish Brutis once... and then i have a white discus i named Pervert.. hed watch me and my gf in bed... you look at my tank and there hed be in front of the glass with his big black eye starring at you.

Ive also given a few mean fish the name A hole... i know its a g rated forum but yea.. i litterally just go down stairs and say hey there A hole and stuff lol.

I also have a jack dempsy fresh water fish and i named him Sea Monster because hes HUGEE

• Maroon Gold Flake Clown: Marlin (might change to honey badger if she keeps attacking me)

• Gorilla Crab: He who dies in battle will die victorious (long story)
• Serpent Stars: frick and frack

Linear blenny- Linus
Orange spot blenny- Marmalade
2 Barnacle blennies- Barney & Betty
2 Fanged blennies- Sir Lancelot & Sir Galahad
2 green clown gobies- Jet & Piper
2 Pajama cardinals - Jammies & PJ
2 Blue gudgeon dartfish- Spirit & Spectre

Plus I have 3 seahorses in another tank,
Eve is the matriarch and Samson & Delilah are the young lovers.

Pom pom crab is Cheerleader

My hubby even named my gorgonian- Gregory

I keep my fish about 2 weeks to make sure they are going to thrive before I name them. That gives me a chance to see their personalities too.

I let the kids name them:
Bozo & Krusty (2 clown fish)
Benny (Midas Blenny)
Jumper (Diamond Goby)
McFarty (Exquisite Firefish)
Mr. Krabbs (Blood/Fire Shrimp)

They only name the snails if there's something really special about it to make it stand out.

If the fishes' look or personality suggests a name then I do, but if not, I don't sweat it. My Valentini puffer was "Captain Jack" immediately but my Tomini, which I've had for over a year, is still just "the tang".

Oh i forgot one more fish. I named my flame hawk Rodney Dangerfield. Because i sware to god this fish the way he acts and his beedy eyes.. he looks like rodney dangerfield.

Sandy names some fish that have character.

We had this one fish who used to eat everything and she called it Mrs piggy. We had a blue throat trigger she called blue... ETC.
