I have been culturing nannochloropsis for a few months. I only use freshly mixed saltwater when I split the cultures. A few days ago, I noticed a couple of these critters in one of the cultures. They are definitely multiplying.
They seem to propel themselves with the thin fan types things on their sides. Any idea what these are? I couldn’t find them on Lionfish Lair’s database.
