Hey all, new member. I have had lots of different reefs but this is my first time doing a ten gallon nano. its been going for a little while now and i have 3 chromis, 5 snails, 5 hermits, a small serpant star and some easy going lps corals. i have one AI prime hd running about 75 percent on most except red and green. 500 gph flow'ish. i put a fairly deep (3 inch) sand bed. keeping it 77-79 degrees. hoping to add a pistol shrimp, goby combo and or a couple of clowns. just looking for any advice or tips for feeding, stocking and cleaning. Thanks in advance! Cheers!

I feel like you're getting close to fully stocked up with fish. What type of filtration you running? I'm assuming a hob filter? Just go slow and watch your nitrates/PO4. Keep up with maintenance that you're doing and maybe consider a larger water change if you do end up getting a few more fish. Make sure not to overfeed. Any pictures?

You’re already at 3 fish and looking to add 2 more? Chromis actually get fairly big, and in a tank that small I think they’re going to pick each other off shortly. I don’t think I’d have any more than 2 fish in a tank that size.

other than that it seems like you’re doing everything well. We’d love to see pics.

yea ill post some pics! also i have been hearing that the chromis would most likely pick eachother off, so far so good, if they get to big ill have to take a couple back and then maybe add the clowns. yea im using a HOB filter and also a decent size powerhead with a sponge on the bottom, catches debris at most. got carbon and phosguard in the back of the filter. and doing 20 percent each week. but i would agree that going slow and not over feeding....which im unsure what over feeding a ten gallon looks like. we talking once a day feeding or a couple times a week.

Are you feeding pellets? You can feed either of those, it’s mostly just about quantity. If you’re doing pellets then only do enough so each fish gets like 2-4.

these are photos, changed around some equipment from first to second, i know i said mostly lps but the birdnest was free, and yes pellets, gonna eventually add in a bit of frozen couple times a week, and also a tiny bit of reef roids, also added a duncan head and a branching hammer today.
