I have heard great thins about those hygger pumps, but I have never personally used them. I have 2 nero3's and find they can be turned way down, or even way up, and 2 would be great in a nano. The small footprint compared to an Mp10 would be better in a nano too.

While I love my MP's, they do sort of look like Frankenstein's neck bolts on my tank. I just think in something like a 20 or smaller, they would look ridiculous hanging on the side of the tank.

In my 80G cube I run 2 mp10's, 2 jebao pp8's(great pumps that have been rock solid for the last 6 years), and just recently replaced my dead gyre(waste of money, it died after 1 year) with 2 nero 3's.

I am SPS dominant, and have roughly 200x turnover in the display with practically 0 dead spots.

I think I’m going to start off with 1 tunze or 1 hyyger and see how it does. Not sure which one yet but honestly, I’m sure they do the same thing and I’m looking to get 1 year out of the pump and I’ll be happy

While tunze are known to be the gold standard and will last a lifetime, they are also costly(something we definitely need to consider this day and age). If I was only planning on a year or 2, you could buy 5 hyyger pumps for the cost of 1 tunze.

I’ve got a smaller hygger wave maker and I love it. Been running for about 2 years without issue. For $70 and easy delivery from Amazon, it’s a pretty good deal. Like @homer1475 mentioned, you could get a few of these for the cost of a tunze.
