As the title suggest I'll be starting my 6.2 bowfront gallon nano in the next few weeks. So without further ado....I'll let my pics do the talking.

Looks great. What do you have in mind for fish and off course welcome to reef to reef

I was thinking 1 awesome clown fish, green clown goby, yellow prawn goby, skunk cleaner shrimp. But I only want 2 fish maybe and I mean maybe 3. Still very open to other options.

Looks like a great start! A piece of table shrimp or fish food as mentioned before will work just fine. If you ever decided you wanted to add the flexibility of a sump to the setup the glass is NOT tempered. I drilled that exact same tank out last night without any problems. Exciting to see your progress, good luck!

The shrimp would be your best bet. It is old school but works:)

Yep went out and bought 3 wild caught shrimp so they have all the goodies. How much of a price should I cut?

Added the shrimp last night at 5pm and tonight my tank is all cloudy. I hope that's a good sign. I havent tested for ammonia yet probably will do it tomorrow.

Good luck on the build. I set up an 8g for my son. Not sure if you are planning an ATO but I would highly recommend it. It made things so much easier once I added that otherwise the parameters were all over the place.

I've been looking at ATOs and a powerhead buthe haven't quite been able to figure out which one I should get.

I actually made my own. I took an aqualifter pump and connected it to a float switch in the tank and then drilled a hole in the top of a 5 gallon Home Depot bucket and ran tubing into that. When the water drops in the tank, the float switch makes contact and turns on the aqua lifter which fills the tank. Whole thing cost about $30 :)

Just test my ammonia after 36 hrs and it's through the the roof. Do I remove the 1x1 piece of shrimp or leave it in there. Can't quite find the same answer on a thousand different forums. Any help please?

Once the ammonia spikes you can take the shrimp out and the cycle will begin.

Okay I'll make sure to take it out tonight. Thanks for the quick reply. Once my levels are down and I'll let you know.
