Nano Bubble from Protein Skimmer

Just added a Aquatic Life 115 PS to by Coral Life 29 and its seems to be putting out a lot of Nano Bubbles.
Called Marine Depot where I got it from and was told its normal for the break in period.
Is this correct or should I get a different skimmer??

Microbubbles are common while breaking in a new protein skimmer, although you can also try placing a course sponge in the return section to remedy the issue.
