Agreed with above, could get away with a 75 watt Jaeger for that size though!

I use a 50w Jager TruTemp on my 9g (24x10x10),and with my 4 bulb t5 light off,its keeps the tank at 79.7-79.8 and lights on ita 80.1-80.3.
