So I've been trying to find the best LED for my nano tank I'm setting up. It's 12 gallons. I was looking at the Kessil a160we, but I wasn't sure if that'd be over kill on a tank of my size. I was perhaps trying to find something a little more inexpensive as well comparable to the Kessil. Predominately, I will have LPS in the tank.

Suggestions??? :)

Have you heard about the Coral Box Moon LED? We offer it as the Nano Light, it has 50 watts of Cree LEDs, includes a gooseneck mount, and is controlled through a smartphone app for $180 shipped. Something like that would be a good fit for your tank.

I am actually in the same boat right now and i am divied between a few lights!
The kessil, the new AI prime HD, nanobox Tidal. all are honestly reall good lights i just dont know which one would be best haha.
Hope people can add thier input to helps us both out

I was going to suggest the Prime but @pablue was here first:) this nice thing about the light is you can adjust them down if they are too much, as were as a inexpensive light you can do nothing but buy another light:rolleyes:

May I ask what's the width and length? I might recommend you Asta 120, new arrival from Lumini, 120w light, wifi controllable on Android and iOS app, timing and dimming, two manual knobs, you cam adjust 4 separate channels from zero to 100%. while kessil can only dim 2 channels. more info pls check: http://www.luminiaqua.com/lumini-asta-120/lumini-asta-120-tech/, just for your reference.^_^

The tank is 16 inches long I believe. Not sure on the width, but it's similar to that picture above with your light from what I can see, minus the back filtration.
