I have a 26gal bowfront fluval pkg, saltwater tank. I have 26 pounds of live rock. I want fish and basic corals, one strip of led came with this package. My lfs told me I could use these lights for some of his corals. What lighting do I really need? This is confusing to me because its only a 26 gal tank.

What are the dimensions?
Length x width x height

Ahhh, anemos like alot of lighting. You may be able to keep one but it will move around ALOT trying to find the best spot to soak up its much needed light. Its safer to invest in something of good quality when it comes to lighting such as a kessil, if you're on a budget look for something on ebay thats unbranded .. they also work for anemos

Yes and maybe an anemo for my clown fish
If you want a BTA, then you need to wait at least six months after your tank is cycled any very stable to add one.
They also count against your bio-load, by increasing it.
Two Kessil a80's may do the job or one Kessil a360w and the Kessil controller is very nice too.

I'd just focus on getting a good deep cycle and go from there.

Here's a BTA site.

Yeah, i'd agree with the two kessils mentioned. The way i see it, DONT go cheap on your lighting .. there are somethings you can go around on but when it comes to lighting as much as it hurts you gotta get something that wont fail on you. You dont want your lights burning out on you & you running like a chicken with its head cut off trying to figure out what to do trust me i been there !!!
