Nano photography

Been messing with my iPhone 8 Plus and reading up on line. I’m going to order a few things but for now just the stock camera and settings. Let me know what you think or any pointers greatly appreciated.

Oh it’s later in my light cycle tonight also. so going to try tomorrow when lights are at their peak
 
You're probably not going to get a decent pic with a phone camera, but you could try. Make sure the cam is parallel to the glass. Any angle and you risk refraction. Also, if you have leds, take the blue channel right down.

You need to set your cam to macro and focus on a single point on the coral, like the lash of a zoa, or the mouth of an acan. Then everything before and after that point becomes blurred with the depth of field
