I have a 25 gallon (24x16x16) with one MP40 creating a small wave, but I would like to add a power head or two to randomize the flow more.

I was thinking about 2x Tunze 6040s, but I am open to other suggestions/input. I would also prefer that I could aim them a bit to increase surface agitation. I have a fine-grain sand bed so would also like them to be adjustable.

No jeabos for me though because of the blatant patent infringement.

Any suggestions?

AI Nero for the win
Great little pump puts out lots of flow and the app is so easy to use and adjust

Thanks they do seem appealing, but have heard you can’t turn them down that much, wasn’t sure if it would be too much for a 25g.

If you want to go cheap cheap the hydor koralia nano has always been my go to for tiny applications. Not customizable but if you need to get rid of a small dead space it’s perfect

You can turn them way down I have one in a Waterbox 20 so much control

I highly recommend this one. Has tons of different settings as far as power is concerned, has a random wave mode, has a feeder button that will stop power for 10 mins, and the unit itself is very sleek looking. I'm starting a 2nd tank and am going to get another one for sure.

Or the tunze 6040, kinda of a pain to air though due to the design.

AI Nero tucked on the back glass in my Waterbox 20 tons of fleshy lps and it doesn’t blast anything
