NANO PROTEIN SKIMMERS!

I recently setup a 40G Breeder and added a Fiji Cube AIO Box.. I narrowed my choices down to 2 protein skimmers, the IM DC NuvoSkim midsize or the Tunze 9004 DC.. Anyone ever used one of these that has some input on pro vs cons? The problem with the Tunze is I will have to trim some of the rim of the tank in order for it to fit inside the AIO box.. The Innovative Marine will fit fine without a trim

I do not have either one, but based on the reviews that I have seen the Tunze is a better unit. Hopefully others will chime in soon - good luck!

I have had both the Tunze 9004 Doc skimmer and the Nuvoskim midsize skimmer On my Nuvo 40 AIO

I sold the Tunze and kept the Nuvoskim. Not because the Nuvoskim is better but it fits where I want to fit . The Tunze is a much better skimmer without a doubt though.

Yeah that’s kinda where I’m at with it at this point.. I can either trim the rim for the Tunze or just get the NuvoSkim and not trim it.. Gonna do some more research and see if it’s worth the trim or not
