I have an EVO 13.5 which has two large pieces of LR. The right chunk of LR is covered in a mass of GSP that I want out so I can have more room for other corals. I am worried that pulling out a piece of rock that large will destabilize the tank. Any methods to doing this so I can minimize all the filtration loss? Here is my plan kinda...
Start cycling a replacement rock in a bucket with some rubble to seed
Cut off the corals besides the GSP and glue to the new seeded rock
Monitor nutrients and ammonia like crazy for the next month
Pray the tank doesn't destabilize
Any wisdom would be greatly appreciate!
