Bear in mind that the chemistry in some of his works (including some still posted online) is incorrect. I've not read this one to know if it is a problem with this book, however.

his book advanced reef keeping was a gift from the heavens for all the knowledge starved reef junkies of the eighties Picked my first edition up release day in 89 and it's crazy how much stuff is still relevant almost 30 years later.. Still enjoy reading it although its falling apart.. lol
