Nano reef tank accessories

My new 15 gallon reef tank has been going well and I don't want to fix what's not broken but is it worth it to get any accessories for it? UV? Reactor? any suggestions help! thanks guys

are skimmers worth it for a nano though? wouldn't a like 3 gallon water change every 2 wks do more than the skimmer? all assumptions, not too educated on skimmers. its an AIO jbj tank.

out of all that you named, a skimmer is the most realistic. A skimmer would allow you to fine tune nutrient export in another manner meaning fewer water changes, or eventually only as needed. Air driven in tank/hob skimmers really are shockingly helpful in nano systems. I made my own in about 15 minutes but this one is pretty cheap and simple.

Besides that I guess it depends on your needs, If you've got the patience an ATO can be super helpful. Anything that lessens the workload IMO is a worthwhile investment. A UV sterilizer is probably not necessary for a 15 gal system. A reactor of some sort may be helpful for managing params as your tank matures and corals become more demanding, but it may be easier to just hand dose the tank as it is a nano. But if you start to see that dosing isn't cutting it then id consider other methods of calcium and ALK management. Otherwise perhaps a controller/thermostat for your heater.
