I have two clowns as of now and am seeking advice on what I can put in my 10 gal reef. Anthias? Firefish? Goby?

I don't know if you could add anything else? The clowns would be pretty aggressive in a 10 gallon

Definitely not anthias. A goby or A firefish would do.

They are juv still

Have you thought about upgrading to a larger tank? A 20 gallon long would compliment your ambitions and wouldn't cost much more than the 10 gallon that you have.

In a 10g, with a pr of clowns, I recommend staying away from any mid level swimmers. No anthias, no gramma. God choices would include a stigmatura blenny, a small watchman goby, a clown goby, a plectranthias, or a rhino blenny.

What kind of filtration do you have on the 10 gallon?
You could do a goby or a small blenny (think sand or rock dwellers). I would worry more about the exporting of waste than anything else.

25 gallon canister (fluval 106)

Neon gobies are small and are fun to watch. I have one in my 8 gallon with the only other fishmate being a watchman goby.

hmmm, Im not a fan of canister filters but Im sure it works fine.
Whats your waterchange schedule like? I do 2.5 gal/week because I have a HOB filter that just does particulates.
You could get away with a small rock dweller if you keep up with WCs.

Canister filters can export nutrients well, they just don't contribute to oxygen exchange as well.

Water changes every two weeks, nitrates always under 20ppm
Don't freak out...but under 20 is still really high. I always shoot for 0 but definitely under 5 ppm but ive never had a fish only tank. I would go to weekly. It's not that much for a 10 gal anyway

This is true however I don't have adequate space for the equipment to keep it that low. I have done my research and am well educated on what levels my animals can thrive in.

No3 of 20ppm is fine. Stony corals won't thrive, bt fish and soft corals will be just fine.
